امیر جانقلی در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ (۸ ژانویه ۲۰۲۶) در نازیآباد تهران کشته شد. او در سن ۲۵ سالگی بر اثر شلیک مستقیم گلوله جنگی به قلبش، در جریان خیزشهای اعتراضی ایران جان باخت. امیر متولد سال ۱۳۷۷ بود و اهل میدان بهشت بود. زندگی او به شکلی غمانگیز در بحبوحه رویدادهای موسوم به انقلاب شیر و خورشید متوقف شد. از امیر جانقلی به عنوان یکی از هشت جوانی یاد میشود که زندگیشان در این دوران با سرکوب پایان یافت.
